How to get to Zakopane?

Getting there by car
The most convenient route leads from Krakow along the national road No. 47, known as "Zakopianka". It is the main communication artery connecting Podhale with Małopolska. Currently, a large part of the route has the standard of an expressway, which significantly shortens the travel time and increases the comfort of travel. The entrance to Zakopane is well signposted, and there is a parking lot at the Hyrny Conference & Recreation Centre.
